Who is Ilgaz Kayılıoğlu?
He was born in 1984 in Ilgaz district of Çankırı. He completed his primary school in Trabzon and secondary school in Van. In his childhood he changed cities with his father's appointments. He graduated from Ankara Atatürk Anatolian High School in 2002 and started his medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in the same year. He graduated in 2008 and started his General Surgery Specialization training at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in the same year. After five years of training, he became a General Surgery Specialist in 2013. For the following five years, he worked as an attending specialist surgeon at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital. In 2018, he became an academician at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University with the title of Assistant Professor. He earned the title of Associate Professor in 2020. He is married, happy, with two children, Vatan Tahsin and Toprak Ece.
